Titusville, Florida, is one of Florida’s best-kept secrets. Home to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center and the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge, it is a perfect place for a fun family vacation, conveniently located less than one hour from Orlando. While many people pass right through Titusville during the long drive down I-95 towards West Palm Beach, Miami, or the Keys, Titusville is well worth a one or two-night stopover on your next trip.

Merritt Island is of my favorite places to visit in Florida – don’t miss it if you’re in the area.

It’s also close to major companies like SpaceX, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, NASA, and Blue Origin. So if you’re here for business, this location is ideal. If you’re here for leisure, you’re only minutes away from the Kennedy Space Center’s Visitor Complex and Port Canaveral.

These rooms are equipped with working desks, coffee makers, high-speed WiFi, hair dryers, irons, and ironing boards. Some rooms even have a sitting area with a sofa bed. 

This hotel also offers other convenient amenities, including a business center, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, meeting rooms, and laundry services. If you’ve got an electric vehicle, they also offer onsite EV charging, a huge benefit of staying here.

The B&B also has a library with an antique toy and book collection dating from the 1890s to the 1960s. 

You can enjoy a full breakfast between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. Upon arrival, all guests receive a snack tray. In the evenings, from 5-7 p.m., they host a happy hour in the English Pub Room. You can even play a melody on the Baby Grand Piano in the music room.

From their second-floor deck, you can even view rocket launches over the Indian River. The mid-January to mid-May is the busiest season when visitors mostly visit the Kennedy Space Center. TV networks have used the B&B’s deck to shoot rocket launches from the space facility.
