WasabiCon 2024 Coming to Jacksonville in October

The highly anticipated WasabiCon 2024 is set to take place from October 11th to 13th at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center in Jacksonville, Florida. The Prime Osborn spans over 165,000 square feet of event space. 

Nerd out with your fellow fans and partake in otaku culture. The event has five major themes: cosplay, kpop, tabletop gaming, anime, and video games. Both the cosplay competition and cosplay lip sync battle are back again this year.


Wasabicon 2024 will feature over 100 hours of panels, tournaments, gaming, and more. You can look forward to cosplay meetups, an Itasha car showcase, and a variety of food trucks. The convention will also host celebrity guests, cosplay creators, fan groups, and other featured talents.

Some of the notable media guests include voice actors such as Kimiko Glenn, Ryan Colt Levy, and Suzie Yeung. Moreover, fan groups like Florida Budokan, Global Patch, and featured talent like Harajuku Tattoo will also be part of the event.

Parking

There are a few places to park for the event. The Prime Osborn has more than 900 parking spaces, and there are an additional 300 at the parking garage on Water Street. Both are $10 per day. The Kings Avenue Parking Garage is also nearby, but it is pricier if you are staying for the day. Rates there are $20 per day, but hourly rates are also available.
